Ten offers in seven days

Ten different species of business, one week, roughly 200 real attempts. The week is not designed to make money — it is designed to find out which of these strangers will actually pay you, so that by Friday night two of them are still standing and eight are dead. 220 leads below are real, pulled from Google Places within 7 km of Peel: names, numbers, addresses. Every mark you make on this page is saved.

Face to face

Nothing today happens over email. Walk in, say the price, take the no, write down why.

🧹Cleaning

Will a stranger hand me money for plain labour?

The offer

$80 storefront reset — front glass, door, entrance mat. About an hour.

“Hi — I clean storefronts on this street. Your front glass is $80 and takes me about an hour. Want it done Saturday or Sunday?”

Counts as signal
Asks the price back, names a day, or says “how much for the inside too?”
Doesn't count
“Leave a card.” “Talk to the owner, he's not here.” Those are attempts, not conversations.
22 leads pulled for thisSalons, barbershops, nail bars and cafés with street-facing glass, all within walking distance of Peel.

📸Photography

Will a business pay me for creative skill on the spot?

The offer

$120 — 45 minutes shooting your food and room, 20 edited photos back tomorrow.

“I shoot food and interiors for restaurants around here. $120 for 45 minutes, 20 edited photos, you get them tomorrow. Can I show you two?”

Counts as signal
They pull out their phone to look, ask when you're free, or ask about video.
Doesn't count
“Send us an email.” Take it, but count it as a no until they reply.
22 leads pulled for thisRestaurants, cafés, bakeries and studios whose current photos are visibly weak. Check their Google listing before you walk in.
16:00 – 17:00

Log the day

Ten minutes. Mark every lead you touched above, and write the reason next to each no. The reasons are worth more on Friday than the counts.

Sun6

Make, then send

B2B is asleep, so today runs on DMs and email. Ninety minutes to build the samples, then stop building.

today
09:30 – 12:00

Build two sample ads

Pick two brands from the list below and cut one short-form ad each from photos already on their site. Ninety minutes total. These are the price of admission for the afternoon, not a portfolio.

13:00 – 15:3020 attempts

🎬UGC / AI ads

Will a brand pay for content it can run as an ad?

The offer

3 short-form ad videos for $300. The first one is free, made from photos you already have.

“I made you one. It's yours either way — if you want three a month it's $300. Want the file?”

Counts as signal
They ask for the file, send you product, or ask what it would cost monthly.
Doesn't count
A like on the DM. A “cool!”. Neither is money.
22 leads pulled for thisLocal retail with a product you can shoot from their own website photos — cosmetics, supplements, furniture, clothing.
16:00 – 17:00

Mon7

Labour Day

Statutory holiday — almost every B2B target on this board is closed. Calling today would measure the calendar, not the market. So: build the things Tuesday needs, and run the one experiment that works on a holiday.

today
09:30 – 12:00

Prep Tuesday

Record the voice-receptionist demo you'll play down the phone. Write the Lumière script. Draft the recovery email. Queue everything to send Tuesday 8am.

13:00 – 15:3020 attempts

🎟️Events

Can I gather people and get them to pay before I spend anything?

The offer

$15 ticket. Thursday, 30 people, one room. Sell 10 before you book anything.

“To venues: “I bring 30 people on a Thursday, they drink, I need the room for two hours. No fee either way?””

Counts as signal
10 paid tickets from people who are not your friends.
Doesn't count
“I'll try to come.” Free RSVPs predict nothing.
22 leads pulled for thisBars and coworking rooms that stay empty on a Thursday. Ask for the room free against the bar — never pay a deposit during a test.
16:00 – 17:00

Fulfil and log

Deliver anything sold over the weekend — the photos, the second clean. Then update the board.

Tue8

The two you built

First real B2B day of the week. Both of these are things you can already do better than the person you're selling to.

💎Studio Lumière

Will jewellers pay for AI product and model imagery?

The offer

Send one product photo. Two campaign images back, on a model, free. Then $40/piece.

“I turn a flat product photo into campaign images with a model wearing the piece. Send me one ring and I'll do two for free today — if you like them, it's $40 a piece after.”

Counts as signal
They actually send a photo. That is the whole test.
Doesn't count
“Interesting, email me your portfolio.” Only the photo counts.
22 leads pulled for thisIndependent bijouteries, not chains. Walk the Cathcart / Square-Phillips block first — five of these are inside two blocks of each other.
13:00 – 15:3020 attempts

☎️Voice receptionist

Will an SMB pay to stop missing calls?

The offer

Two weeks free. It answers what you miss and books the appointment. $200/month after.

“Quick question — how many calls do you miss while you're with a client? … I set up something that answers those and books them in. Free for two weeks, and I'll show you every call it took.”

Counts as signal
They estimate a number of missed calls, or ask to hear it.
Doesn't count
“We already have a receptionist / it's fine.” That is real negative evidence — write it down.
22 leads pulled for thisBarbershops, clinics, vets and hotels — places where the phone rings while both hands are busy. You already know this problem cold.
16:00 – 17:00

Log the day

Ten minutes. Mark every lead you touched above, and write the reason next to each no. The reasons are worth more on Friday than the counts.

Wed9

Selling outcomes

Both offers today are paid-on-results. That removes the price objection and replaces it with a trust objection — listen for which one you actually get.

today
09:30 – 12:0020 attempts

♻️Lead recovery

Will a business pay me out of money it already lost?

The offer

I work your last 100 dead quotes. You pay $50 per appointment I put back on the calendar.

“How many estimates did you send last year that never booked? … Give me the last hundred. I'll call them. You only pay when someone books — $50 each.”

Counts as signal
They can tell you roughly how many dead quotes they have. Anyone who knows the number feels the pain.
Doesn't count
“We follow up already.” Ask how. If the answer is vague, keep going.
22 leads pulled for thisMovers, renovation contractors and clinics — high-ticket, quote-driven, and everyone in this list sends estimates that go quiet.
13:00 – 15:3020 attempts

🎯Appointment setting

Will a business pay for meetings, not marketing?

The offer

10 qualified estimate appointments. The first 3 are free, $100 each after that.

“I book estimate appointments for contractors. First three are free so you can judge the quality — after that it's $100 a booking, and you cancel whenever.”

Counts as signal
They ask what “qualified” means, or what areas you can book.
Doesn't count
“Send me a proposal.” Push for a 10-minute call instead.
22 leads pulled for thisRoofing, HVAC, plumbing, reno — trades whose whole business is getting to the estimate.
16:00 – 17:00

Log the day

Thu10

Leverage

Today tests whether you can get paid without doing the work yourself — the two models that scale past your own hands.

today
09:30 – 12:0020 attempts

💻Workflow automation

Will a business pay me to delete their busywork?

The offer

Free 20-minute diagnostic. $500 to kill one repetitive process, done in a day.

“What does someone in your office retype every single day? … I do one of those a week. $500, done in a day, and if it doesn't hold up you don't pay.”

Counts as signal
They describe a specific process with a specific person doing it.
Doesn't count
Enthusiasm about AI in general. Only a named, boring, daily task counts.
22 leads pulled for thisInsurance brokers, property managers, accountants and clinics — paperwork businesses where one person is the bottleneck.
13:00 – 15:3020 attempts

🤝Brokerage

Can I sell work that somebody else fulfils?

The offer

To the supplier: “I'll bring you jobs at your rate minus 25%. No obligation.”

“I get asked for cleans/shoots/moves I don't do myself. What's your rate if I bring you the job and handle the customer?”

Counts as signal
They give you a number. A rate is the deal.
Doesn't count
“Sure, send anything over.” Get the actual price.
22 leads pulled for thisThese are suppliers, not customers. Get 5 rates today, then sell one of Saturday's cleaning or photography leads a job you don't do yourself.

Fri11

Round two, then decide

No new offers today. Take the three that showed any pulse, rewrite them using this week's objections, and hit 20 more each.

today
09:30 – 15:30

Round two on the top three

Rewrite each offer around the single most common objection it got, then 20 fresh attempts each. A first batch of 20 mostly measures how badly you pitched it.

16:00 – 17:30

Score it and choose

Not “which made the most money”. Score each survivor 1–5 on all six, then keep one or two:

  1. Demand — how many out of 20 leaned in without being pushed
  2. Willingness to pay — did anyone move money, or just admire it
  3. Reachability — how hard was it to get to the person who decides
  4. Margin — what's left after the hours and the gear
  5. Repeatability — does the same pitch work on the 40th one
  6. Appetite — could you do this every day for a month without flinching

Cleaning has an unfair head start: “$80 to clean that” needs no explanation. Weigh it against what a single lead-recovery client is worth if they have 800 dead quotes.
